Job vacancy: Usability Team Leader – Human Factors Manager – Medical Devices

Location: Cambridge
Terms: Full time and permanent

A really exciting opportunity has become available for a highly skilled and experienced Usability or Human Factors expert.  Taking a Team Leader role will help your team develop a specific Medical Device that will save lives all over the World.

Due to the important nature of the Usability and Human Factors regulations in Medical Devices, we need someone who has successfully delivered a number of different Medical Devices and has a strong understanding of the regulations and can navigate the product through CE Marking and FDA submissions.

In a leadership role, you will be managing a small team of Usability Experts.  With this in mind, prior team management exposure will be highly advantageous.  If you do not have management/team leader experience but have been in a mentoring position, we may still consider your application.

Ideally, you will hold a Human Factors, Usability or Industrial Design degree along with a number of years in the Medical Devices sector.  The years of experience in the Medical Devices sector are more important, so if your degree was from another field, we would still consider your application.

Due to the fact you will be in a leadership role, you must have design experience in your usability or human factors work.  Your role will not only involve running studies but having input to the development of this Medical Devices.

This will be an important role within this company and critical in its growth, due to this career development and training will be provided.  Due to the long-term nature of this role, we need someone on a permanent basis and cannot consider someone in a contract or consultancy capacity.

Apart from a very interesting range of work and career progression, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package.

If you are looking for a Team Leadership role in Medical Devices Usability and Human Factors, I suggest applying now as I do expect a lot of interest.
