This bursary of up to £500 is available for travel to support the attendance of individual students at home or international conferences. The applicant is expected to be actively participating, for example, by presenting a paper or poster.
This prize was founded by the University of Nottingham and the CIEHF in memory of Professor John R Wilson.
Up to 3 awards may be made per year. Applications can be made at any time. There is no closing date.
In order to be eligible to apply for the bursary, applicants must:
1. Provide evidence that they will be registered as undergraduate or postgraduate students at the time of conference attendance.
2. Be Student or Graduate Members of the CIEHF at the date of application and attendance at the conference.
3. Expect to be actively participating in the conference they are attending, for example, by presenting a paper or poster.
4. Be willing to write an article on their experience or their paper for The Ergonomist, following their attendance.
