Why join?

Why join?

Networking: You can meet IEHF members and those from other organisations at events that we organise and hold every year. You can easily get to know other people in your area by going to a local Regional Group meeting.

Credibility: You will be part of an organisation that sets and maintains high standards of professionalism amongst its members. We are currently seeking Chartership to further enhance our standing. You could be nominated for one of our awards. You will be invited to submit articles, press releases and service announcements that promote what you are doing in terms of research or your business.

Visibility: You will be included in our membership lists (or consultancy directory if you are a business) so you can reach a wider market. You can contribute to our printed publications, such as the Ergonomics journal or our membership magazine, The Ergonomist, or our website.

Knowledge: You can expand your knowledge by reading our articles, taking a discounted journal, or learning how to use featured tools and techniques.

Skills & experience: You will be the first to hear about relevant jobs, work experience and training courses. You will be able to document your professional development to see how well you are doing.

Support: You will have access to a mentor if you are applying for Registered Membership who will provide advice and guidance. You will have access to our membership lists so that you can make contact with others with similar professional interests. You can join one of our Special Interest Groups.

Services: You will get great deals through our specially negotiated rates for professional liability insurance. You will be able to place advertisments at a discount on our website and in our membership magazine.
