Our rapidly changing in-vehicle environments create a series of human factors issues in relation to both information technologies (SatNav, smartphones, email/internet) as well as active safety technologies such as electronic stability control, adaptive cruise control and brake assist.
This group will discuss and comment on Human-Machine Interaction (In-Vehicle Information and Advanced Driving Assistance Systems, IVIS/ADAS), physical ergonomics, distraction and mental workload, simulation, interaction with the built environment, automation, driver impairment (from drugs, alcohol, fatigue) and driver training.
Do you want to join in the discussions? Then please contact us.
