Richard Simcock of Ergonomic Systems Limited recently ran two of his IEHF accredited one-day ‘Introduction to Human Factors’ courses for the Environment Agency. Twenty two regulators from the agency, representing a wide range of sectors attended. The interactive sessions were well received with all attendees getting involved and getting to grips with the basic principles of Human Factors. Michael Ainsworth of the Environment Agency organised the course and the provider was found through the IEHF’s list of accredited courses.
Mr Ainsworth said: “Thanks for providing the course for which the feedback has been wholly positive. On a personal note I found the course extremely useful and it has given me a new perspective during inspections and so improved how I consider issues that are identified by sites.”
