Membership

This is where you can find out more about why you should join the IEHF and how to apply.

We have several grades of membership. Find out more by clicking or tapping on the information symbols or reading the details below.

Career path grades

Fellow: You need to have broad knowledge and experience of ergonomics/ human factors and have made significant contributions to the subject for at least ten years. Read more

Registered Member:
You need to demonstrate a broad education and 3-4 year’s experience in ergonomics/ human factors. Read more

Technical Member: You need to be able to demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience of ergonomics in your own profession. Read more

Graduate Member: You need to have recently graduated from one of our accredited courses. Read more

Associate Member:
You simply need to have an interest in ergonomics and human factors to join us. That’s all! Read more

Student Member: You need to be registered as a student on any course. Read more

Retired Member: You need to have been a member of the IEHF for at least 10 years to be a Retired Member. Read more
