DESCRIPTION:There is a growing movement in modern healthcare to ensure that human factors are embedded within practice\, policy\, education\, research and development and this conference will provide participants with information about the ways in which innovators are using human factors to continuously improve the safety and quality of patient care at the frontline.    If you want to develop a better understanding of human factors - its concepts\, tools\, technologies and techniques and how these are key to the improvement and maintenance of safe care\, then this conference is for you. Whether you work in management\, practice\, policy\, education or research there will be something of relevance for you in the conference programme. You will hear keynote speakers from nursing\, policy\, education\, research and development highlighting how the human factors can support the patient safety agenda for the 21st Century. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to network with a broad range of colleagues from across the UK to share ideas\, experiences\, and interventions aimed at improving patient safety.
